International Workshop on Quantum Many-Body Problems in Particle, Nuclear, and Atomic Physics

General Information

The International Workshop on Quantum Many-Body Problems in Particle, Nuclear, and Atomic Physics will take place from Mar. 8 through Mar. 11, 2017 at Duy Tan University (DTU), Danang city, Vietnam. This workshop, which is co-organized by the Quantum Hadron Physics Laboratory in RIKEN (Saitama) and Duy Tan University (Danang), aims to discuss various topics in quantum many-body systems in particle, nuclear, and atomic physics. In particular, the workshop will cover topics on

    Lattice QCD

  • 2

    Physics of cold atoms

  • 3

    Nuclear physics

  • 4

    Astrophysics

The workshop expects to welcome 50-70 participants who are interested in the above topics.

A Parallel Mini-Workshop on Nuclear Engineering and Reactor Physics will also be held on March 8-9, 2017 at the same place.

Registration Fee

  • 100 USD per participant. The registration fee covers workshop materials, lunches, coffee breaks, and airport pick-up service (if participants are arriving together).

  • Participants pay their registration fee in cash upon arrival at the registration desk on Mar. 8, 2017.

  • No registration fee is required for accompanying persons.

  • Banquet

    Participants and accompanying persons who wish to attend the workshop banquet should register and pay an amount of 30 USD at the registration desk on Mar. 8, 2017.

  • Excursion

    There will be a full-day excursion on March 11, 2017. The excursion consists of a half-day city tour around Danang city and another half day to Hoi An ancient town, a UNESCO World Heritage site (http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/948), which is located at the distance of about 30 km south from Danang city.

    Participants and accompanying persons who wish to join the excursion should register and pay the excursion fee of 45 USD at the registration desk on Mar. 8, 2017.
